Position Overview:

Job Responsibilities
- Monitoring Expertise: Develop and promote the use of top-tier monitoring frameworks for comprehensive application and service monitoring, ensuring smooth, low-noise alerting with robust telemetry.
- Software Lifecycle Involvement: Collaborate with development teams throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring sustainable software releases. Enhance team performance, actively acquiring new skills.
- Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot critical incidents, lead blame-free post-mortems, and contribute to viable solutions.

Requirements, Abilities, and Skills
- Infrastructure Expertise: Proficient in designing, building, and deploying scalable software-based infrastructure components, including cloud products, container systems, compute, storage, and network services.
- Programming Proficiency: Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java).
- Tech Stack: Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker.
- Automation: Skills in scripting languages for task automation and pipeline construction.
- Customer Support: Ability to resolve application and system customer support issues, with contributions to observability, performance, and capacity management tools.
- Network Knowledge: Understanding of network technology and concepts; regarded as a change agent and a significant contributor to the SRE Team(s).
- Experience: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of applied Software Engineering/SRE experience.
Preferred Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills
Security Awareness: Knowledge of Open Source and Source Code vulnerabilities and scanning methods is a plus.
