JOB PURPOSE:
As the Marketing Manager for Medical Education, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that promote medical education programs and initiatives under the banners of Apollo Hospitals and Apollo Simulation Centre. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing creative marketing campaigns, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive enrollment and participation in medical education courses and events. You will play a crucial role in the growth of key revenue streams, including the Diploma of National Board (DNB) certification programs offered by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and rolled out by Apollo Hospitals Group, postdoctoral fellowships offered by various medical universities in India and abroad, clinical observer ships from students in India and abroad, and the Apollo Simulation Centers.
KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES /ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
✅Conduct market research to identify target audiences, competitors, and trends in medical education.
✅Create comprehensive marketing plans for different target segments to promote medical education programs and events.
✅Utilize various marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and print materials, to reach potential participants effectively.
✅Expand the presence of Medical Education and its offerings by working with Projects and other stakeholders within the Apollo ecosystem to plan, identify synergies, and grow the footprint.
✅Drive usage of Medical Education through the delivery of quality programs and exceptional outcomes across healthcare staff and students, both within the Group and outside.
Content Creation and Branding:
✅Develop engaging and persuasive marketing content, including brochures, website copy, press releases, and social media posts.
✅Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials to enhance the organization’s reputation.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
✅Oversee the organization’s online presence and manage the website, blog, and social media platforms.
✅Implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility and increase organic traffic.
✅Plan and execute online advertising campaigns to reach the target audience.

Event Promotion and Management:
✅Collaborate with event organizers to promote medical education conferences, seminars, and workshops.
✅Develop event-specific marketing materials and coordinate promotional activities before and during the events.
Stakeholder Engagement:
✅Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, medical institutions, and key opinion leaders to promote collaboration and participation in medical education programs.
✅Attend conferences and networking events to represent the organization and expand its network.
Performance Measurement and Analysis:
✅Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics and analytics.
✅Analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Budget Management:
✅Develop and manage marketing budgets for medical education initiatives.
✅Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining high-quality marketing efforts.
✅Ensure that Medical Education is a profitable, revenue-generating entity by tactically increasing outreach, marketing visibility, and relevance to target segments.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & CRITICAL EXPERIENCES:
✅A post-graduate qualification in Healthcare Marketing or Business Management would be an added advantage.
✅Minimum 8 years of proven experience in the medical education or healthcare industry.
✅Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary, cross-functional environment.
✅Strong people, project, business leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
✅Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✅A strong understanding of medical education trends, healthcare terminology, and industry challenges.
✅Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
✅Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
